The sun is incredibly warm and bright today. We were early to pick Sissy up from preschool and laid out a blanket on the soft new grass under a blossoming crab-apple tree.
The last few days have been extremely fraying to the nerves; I think they have finally taken their toll on the four of us.
Decided to take one from Jaime's book today and stare into oblivion; let the sun, and God, fill me with peace.
Came home... Made the kids a picnic and watched Hanna lay on the grass under the tree in the front... Cleaned up some; trying to get organized again. And now, once more, have fallen into oblivion. There is something to be said for mindless reading... Thanks to Gabaldon for that!
Truly truly, Thank God for naptimes, and Spring, and these rare moments of peace. I am blessed.
